Lauren Ferraro, Bay Area Studio Principal

Lauren Ferraro's first memories of design date back to sixth grade when, inspired by a shopping trip to an antique store, she decided to sketch and design an armoire with her dad. Since that time she has collaborated on luxury residences spanning the west coast. Ferraro's passion for art, antiques, and vintage furnishings inform her design approach.

"I love layers of texture whether it is color, fabric or history. Mixing pieces from different eras, traditional with modern, new with old, sophisticated with playful."

Known for her direct communication style, Ferraro believes that interior design is as much about communicating as it is designing. "My goal is to find balance between a beautiful design and the practical needs of my client. A home should reflect the people living in it." Along with her comprehensive design experience, Ferraro is an astute art curator and color consultant. Featured on the cover of Seattle Homes & Lifestyles, Ferraro was also honored with Best Kitchen from the same magazine.

A native of Northern California Lauren holds a BA in English from the University of the Pacific, a Masters in Communications from San Diego State and an Interior Design Degree from Bellevue College. She continues to learn and find inspiration through travel and ongoing study.
