Paradise Valley Villa

The owners came to GCID with a list of priorities: transform this scenic Scottsdale villa into a livable winter retreat for empty nesters that could also function as a welcoming gathering place for extended family holidays and celebrations. While the owners have a great love for all things elegant and luxurious, their lifestyle is casual. It needed to be stylish and impressive, yet kid and dog friendly.

The GCID design strategy delivered on all marks. The team created a workable plan that provided ample space for game nights and intimate gatherings, but appointed with elegant furnishings and fixtures to make a grand impression. Using cues from the Mediterranean architecture, they selected a mélange of antique and reproduction Spanish and Italian furniture. The serene color palette perfectly reflects the dreamy desert light, and amplifies the surrounding Arizona landscape.

Three beautifully appointed and spacious guest suites provide the villa's many guests a private haven. And the seamless integration between indoor and outdoor décor invites guests to revel in the beauty of the famed Camelback Mountain just outside the private terrace.
