GCID completed a stunning renovation of a dated contemporary home blending timeless design with the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest. The home, perched on a hill with sweeping water and mountain views was carefully reimagined to enhance its architectural integrity while modernizing its functionality.

The renovation emphasized clean lines, warm wood tones, and organic materials. A palette of earthy hues and deep blues echoed the surrounding landscape, creating a seamless connection between the interior and the breathtaking vistas beyond. The abundant windows were highlighted with understated yet elegant furnishings, chosen to frame—rather than compete with—the dramatic water views.

The furniture selection is both beautiful and inviting, with plush textures, sculptural forms, and a balance of vintage and contemporary pieces. A palette of natural materials was incorporated throughout, enhancing the home’s Pacific Northwest sensibility. Thoughtful lighting choices complemented the soft, ever-changing light from the Sound, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
